A water-filled submersible pump is an electric pump designed to be fully submerged in the fluid it's pumping. Unlike oil-filled pumps, its motor is cooled and lubricated by the water or fluid it's operating within, making it suitable for potable water applications and generally more environmentally friendly. This design also provides efficient heat dissipation and quiet operation.
