Description
The Polymak 10-90mm Heavy Duty Pipe Vice (Model HT-P-PV-90) is an industrial-grade manual clamping workstation designed to lock cylindrical pipes, metal conduits, and plumbing tubes firmly in place during demanding fabrication and cutting tasks. Engineered to provide maximum stability, this heavy-duty vice features a highly durable cast iron foundation body that dampens vibrations and resists warping under intense clamping stress. The tool stands out with its premium drop-forged high carbon steel clamp mechanism, constructed explicitly to provide a long life of rigorous field use without structural yield or strip damage.
Features
:- Durable Cast Iron Body: Heavy-duty base manufactured from high-tensile structural cast iron to deliver ultimate structural weight, strength, and vibration dampening.
- Drop Forged High Carbon Steel Clamp: Outfitted with an ultra-tough drop-forged high carbon steel clamping bridge screw assembly for an exceptionally long service life.
- Broad 10-90mm Clamping Range: Highly versatile throat architecture easily accommodates cylindrical pipes and tubes ranging from 10 mm up to 90 mm in diameter.
- Aggressive Non-Slip Tooth Profile: Features hardened serrated gripping jaw teeth arranged to bite securely into round metal pipe profiles, eliminating axial rotation or slippage.
- High-Torque Tommy Bar Handle: Equipped with a solid sliding handle bar that allows operators to apply massive clamping pressure smoothly with minimal manual hand strain.
Applications
:- Commercial Plumbing & Pipeline Installation: Holding heavy black iron, galvanized iron (GI), or copper water pipes securely while executing precise manual thread cuts.
- Electrical Conduit Processing: Clamping thick-walled rigid steel conduit (RSC) paths or intermediate metal conduits (IMC) to carry out custom bending or sizing.
- Metal Workshop Fabrication: Securely locking structural round metal tubing and rods in place for clean manual hack-sawing, angle-grinding, or welding preparation.
- Maintenance & Repair Operations: Servicing threaded manifold links, valve assemblies, and utility distribution line shafts across factory floors.
Usage
:- Bolt the cast iron base of the Polymak HT-P-PV-90 vice down securely onto a rigid, heavy-duty workshop bench or dedicated field tripod frame.
- Spin the top sliding bar handle counterclockwise to raise the drop-forged high carbon steel clamp jaw to clear your target pipe diameter.
- Position the steel pipe or conduit horizontally across the center of the lower serrated V-block tray jaw.
- Rotate the top tommy bar handle clockwise to drive the upper hardened tooth assembly down firmly onto the pipe circumference.
- Give a final firm torque twist to lock the high carbon steel clamp tightly, validating that the tube is completely immobile.
- Execute your planned cutting, manual pipe threading, or joint welding safely, then reverse the handle rotation counterclockwise to release the workpiece.
