Usage
:- Step 1: Park the motorcycle securely on its central main stand or use a heavy-duty rear paddock workshop lift stand.
- Step 2: Use a spring puller to carefully unhook the high-tension return spring from the side stand peg.
- Step 3: Unscrew the central pivot retaining nut and slide out the mounting bolt to remove the worn or bent stand.
- Step 4: Thoroughly clean the frame's mounting yolk bracket of old dirt, caked-on chain grease, and rust build-up.
- Step 5: Apply a light layer of mechanical grease inside the pivot sleeve, slide the new Generic 10" Side Stand into position, pass the bolt through, and lock the nut tightly.
- Step 6: Re-tension the return extension spring using your puller tool, push the bike down off the center lift, and test the vehicle's lean stability.
