Description
The JIABAIDA (JBD) 48V 13S 40A Li-ion BMS is a high-reliability power management system for 48V lithium-ion battery packs. This module improves the safety of 13-series battery installations by providing a reliable 40 Amp continuous discharge and 20 Amp charging capacity. Using JBD's superior "Same-Port Balance" technology, it simplifies the assembly of electric car batteries by providing a single path for electricity in and out. The device is constructed with a high-grade aluminum heat shield to provide cool operation even under high-torque conditions in electric scooters and e-bikes.

Usage
:- B- Wiring: First, connect the thick blue B- cable to the 48V battery pack's primary negative connector.
- Balance Cable Sequence: Connect the sample wires beginning with the first cell negative (black), then cell 1-13 positives; always check the connector pins with a multimeter before plugging into the BMS.
- Load Connection: Connect the negative terminals of your controller and charger to the thick black P-cable.
- Place the NTC sensor bead in the center of the battery pack, preferably between the middle cells, to detect core heat.
- Same-Port Charging: Because this is a same-port design, be sure your charger's current does not exceed the 20A charge limit.
