Description
All-steel of industrial quality Drop forged from premium chosen steel, this Stillson-type pipe wrench has a jaw capacity of 48 mm and a length of 350 mm. It is hardened and tempered to provide maximum torque on pipes with a big diameter. Model 14/350mm, which complies with IS: 4003-1978 requirements, offers unbreakable construction for demanding plumbing and maintenance applications.
Features
:- Under heavy weights, handle/nut failure is eliminated by the one-piece, all-steel design.
- Selected steel that has been drop forged can handle the greatest industrial torque requirements.
- Large pipes are securely held in place by hardened and tempered jaws, even when they are greasy or damp.
- Pipes with a diameter of 1" to 2" are efficiently handled by the 48mm capacity.
- Heavy leverage does not bend the reinforced I-beam handle design.
Applications
:- Large-scale irrigation and piping systems for industry.
- Hydraulic line maintenance for heavy machinery.
- Pipeline fitting operations for oil and gas.
- Building networks of pipes with a big diameter.
Usage
:- To adjust the jaw opening for pipe diameter, loosen the knurled adjustment nut.
- Place the hook jaw beneath the pipe; when it is loaded, the upper jaw automatically tightens.
- For the best grip, apply rotating force perpendicular to the pipe centerline.
- For optimal mechanical advantage, grasp the I-beam handle with both hands.
- For smooth functioning, lubricate the adjustment mechanism on a regular basis.
