Applications
:- Tile stripping is the rapid removal of ceramic, porcelain, or vinyl tiles from big walls or floors.
- Plaster and Render Removal: Scraping away cement render, thick paint, or old plaster from masonry surfaces.
- Scale and Rust Removal: Removing heavy rust or concrete scale from big metal plates or construction machinery.
- Mortar levelling is the process of preparing floors for new flooring by removing extra mortar beds or thin-set glue.
- Laitance removal is the process of cleaning freshly poured concrete to guarantee that coatings are properly bonded.
Usage
:- Insertion: Before clicking it into the SDS Plus chuck, clean the shank end and lightly grease it.
- Make sure the "Hammer Only" mode is selected for your rotary hammer. Avoid using while rotating.
- Angle Control: To effectively remove tiles, hold the chisel at a 20° to 30° angle to get underneath the material and pop it up.
- Work Pace: Don't push the chisel into the material as this could cause shank failure; instead, let the tool's internal hammer mechanism supply the force.
- Cooling: To preserve the bit's tempering during continuous intense labor, pause occasionally to let it cool.
