Description
The Polymak 15-115mm Heavy Duty Pipe Vice (Model HT-P-PV-115) is a professional-grade manual benchtop workstation component engineered to lock large-diameter cylindrical pipes, heavy steel conduits, and tubing firmly in place during challenging fabrication, cutting, and threading tasks. Built to deliver absolute clamping stability on site, this vice is manufactured with a highly durable, solid cast iron foundation body that naturally absorbs mechanical vibrations and resists structural warping under intense downward clamping force.
Features
:- Rugged Cast Iron Body: Structural foundation molded from dense high-tensile cast iron to provide optimal tool weight, stability, and workspace vibration-dampening.
- Drop Forged High Carbon Steel Clamp: Engineered with an ultra-strong high carbon steel bridge clamp assembly to ensure a remarkably long operational service life.
- Massive 15-115mm Clamping Range: Extended throat capacity easily secures a wide variety of cylindrical metal conduits, tubes, and piping profiles from 15 mm up to 115 mm.
- Hardened Non-Slip Tooth Profile: Precision-broached serrated jaw teeth bite deeply into round metal pipe surfaces, completely preventing dangerous axial slippage or rotation.
- High-Torque Tommy Bar Handle: Designed with a smooth-sliding steel handle bar that lets users apply immense clamping compression with minimized manual strain.
- Hinged Quick-Release Framing: Integrated top-hinge configuration allows the upper jaw assembly to swing open laterally for effortless lateral pipe placement and removal.
Applications
:- Heavy Commercial Plumbing & Drainage: Holding heavy-gauge black iron, carbon steel, or structural copper water mains completely immobile during manual thread processing.
- Electrical Conduit Engineering: Securing large-diameter thick-walled rigid steel conduit (RSC) and industrial utility paths for custom cutting, reaming, or sizing.
- Industrial Metal Fabrication: Locking structural round hollow sections (RHS), steel rods, and boiler tubes in position for safe mechanical angle-grinding or welding prep.
- Facility Plant Utility Support: Servicing heavy threaded manifold fittings, process valves, and fluid line components safely on the workshop floor.
Usage
:- Bolt the cast iron base plate of the Polymak HT-P-PV-115 vice securely onto a heavy-duty workbench, stationary utility truck bed, or dedicated site tripod mount.
- Rotate the top sliding bar handle counterclockwise to raise the clamping screw, unhook the lateral latch pin, and swing the frame open to clear your target pipe diameter.
- Lay the metal pipe or conduit pathway horizontally across the center of the lower serrated V-block tray jaw.
- Swing the upper drop-forged high carbon steel clamp assembly back down over the pipe and secure the primary structural frame locking hook.
- Spin the top tommy bar handle clockwise to drive the upper hardened tooth jaw straight down onto the top circumference of the pipe.
- Give a final, firm torque twist to lock the clamp tightly, verify the material is fully stabilized, and proceed with your planned cutting, manual threading, or welding.
