Usage
:User Instructions :
- Safety First : Wear heavy boots, eye protection, gloves, and ear defenders.
- Install Bit : Pull back the locking pin/retainer, insert the HEX chisel fully, and lock it back in place. Pull on the chisel to ensure it is secure.
- Positioning : Place the chisel tip against the surface you intend to break.
- Operation : Grip both handles firmly. Squeeze the trigger to start the hammering action.
- Technique : Do not force the tool. Allow the 14kg weight of the machine to do the work. Pressing too hard decreases efficiency and increases wear.
- Movement : Work in small sections, repositioning the bit every few seconds to prevent it from getting stuck in the concrete.
Maintenance :
- Grease Check : Demolition breakers require grease lubrication for the hammer mechanism. Check the grease cap regularly and top up with appropriate high-temp grease as per the manual.
- Bit Care : Keep the chisel sharp. A blunt chisel hammers the machine rather than the concrete.
- Carbon Brushes : Inspect motor brushes periodically. If sparks become excessive or power drops, replace the brushes.
- Cleaning : Wipe down the machine after use to remove concrete dust, which can harden and jam the chuck.
