Usage
:User Instructions :
- Safety Gear : Put on safety goggles, heavy gloves, ear protection, and steel-toed boots before starting.
- Install the Bit : Retract the chuck retainer, insert the 17mm hex bit fully, and release the retainer to lock it in. Pull on the bit to ensure it is secure.
- Grip Firmly : Hold the tool with both hands—one on the trigger handle and the other on the auxiliary handle/barrel.
- Engage : Place the chisel tip against the work surface. Squeeze the trigger to activate the hammer.
- Apply Pressure : Lean slightly into the tool to keep the bit from bouncing, but let the hammer mechanism do the work. Do not force it.
Maintenance :
- Grease Check : This tool requires lubrication. Check the grease cap regularly and top up with appropriate high-temperature grease every 40-50 hours of use.
- Vent Cleaning : Use compressed air to blow dust out of the motor vents after every use to prevent overheating.
- Carbon Brushes : Monitor the carbon brushes for wear. Replace them immediately if they are worn down to prevent motor damage.
- Bit Maintenance : Keep your chisels sharp. A blunt chisel increases vibration and puts extra load on the motor.
