This professional-grade electric polisher is an essential tool for auto detailers and body shop technicians. The massive 1250W power unit ensures sustained performance under load, critical for long polishing sessions. Operating as a rotary polisher, the fixed 3000 RPM rotation applies concentrated friction, effectively cutting through the damaged clear coat layer to permanently eliminate severe paint imperfections. The 180mm disc size maximizes coverage, significantly reducing the time required for full vehicle correction. Note that due to its high power and rotational movement, this tool is best suited for experienced users who understand how to control heat and pressure on the paint surface. It requires the purchase of a compatible backing plate and polishing pad (not included) to function.

:This professional-grade electric polisher is an essential tool for auto detailers and body shop technicians. The 180 mm disc size maximizes coverage, significantly reducing the time required for full vehicle correction. Note that due to its high power and rotational movement, this tool is best suited for experienced users who understand how to control heat and pressure on the paint surface. It requires the purchase of a compatible backing plate and polishing pad (not included) to function.
Applications
:Automotive Paint Correction: Removal of deep scratches, swirl marks, etching, and heavy oxidation on car, truck, and motorcycle finishes.
Paint Restoration: Restoring gloss and color depth to aged, dull, or faded paint.
Sanding Mark Removal: Essential in body shops for removing sanding marks left after compounding.
Other Polishing: Can be used with appropriate pads on other materials like metal, fiberglass (boats/RVs), and marble/stone (with specialist pads).
Maintenance
- Cleaning: After each use, blow dust and polish residue out of the cooling vents using compressed air. Clean the polishing pads thoroughly.
- Brush Check: As an electric motor, periodically check and replace the carbon brushes when worn down (refer to the user manual for frequency).
- Cord Inspection: Regularly inspect the power cord for cuts, fraying, or damage.
- Lubrication: If the tool begins to run loudly or vibrate excessively, professional service may be required to check or replace internal gear lubrication.
Usage
:Preparation: Always wash and decontaminate the vehicle surface thoroughly before use.
Pad/Product Selection: Attach an appropriate 180 mm backing plate and select a suitable polishing pad (cutting, polishing, or finishing) and compound/polish based on the severity of the defects.
Application: Apply a small amount of product to the pad. Start the machine before touching the surface to avoid slinging product.
Technique: Hold the polisher flat against the surface. Use slow, overlapping passes (cross-hatch pattern). Maintain constant movement and light pressure to prevent burning or marring the paint.
Focus: Due to the fixed high speed (3000 RPM), extreme caution and skill are required, as a rotary polisher generates significant heat and can quickly damage the paint if held stationary.
Precautionary Guidance
Safety Gear: Always wear safety glasses and hearing protection.
Experience: This rotary-style machine is powerful and is not recommended for beginners due to the high risk of damaging or "burning" through the clear coat. Start on a practice panel.
Heat Management: Keep the polisher moving at all times. Never hold the spinning pad in one spot. Touch the panel frequently to check the temperature; if it is too hot to hold, stop polishing immediately.
Clear Coat Depth: Exercise extreme caution on body lines and panel edges, as the paint is thinnest there and can be burned through quickly.
Unplug When Changing Pads: Disconnect the polisher from the power source before attaching/detaching pads or performing any maintenance.
Proper Power: Ensure the power outlet matches the required 220V/50Hz voltage.
