Usage
:User Instructions :
- Placement : Place the generator outdoors on a flat, stable surface with good ventilation, away from doors and windows.
- Pre-Checks : Ensure the engine oil is filled to the correct level and the fuel tank has fresh petrol. Ensure the battery is connected.
- Fuel & Choke : Turn the fuel valve switch to the "ON" position. If the engine is cold, engage the choke lever.
- Starting : Insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it to the "START" position to engage the self-starter. Release the key once the engine fires.
- Stabilize : Once the engine is running smoothly, gradually return the choke lever to the "RUN" or "OFF" position.
- Connect Loads : Allow the generator to warm up for a minute, then plug in your appliances one by one, starting with the highest wattage item.
Maintenance :
- Oil Change : Check oil level before every use. Change the engine oil regularly according to the schedule in the user manual (typically after the first 20 hours, then every 100 hours).
- Battery Care : Since this is a self-start unit, ensure the 12V battery is kept charged, especially if the generator is not used frequently. Run the generator occasionally to charge the battery.
- Air Filter : Clean the air filter element regularly, especially in dusty conditions.
- Spark Plug : Inspect and clean or replace the spark plug periodically to ensure easy starting.
- Fuel Storage : If storing the generator for more than 30 days, add a fuel stabilizer to the tank or drain the fuel system to prevent gum deposits in the carburetor.
