Usage
:- Closing the Circuit: Locate the manual oil return valve stem on the side of the puller and tighten it firmly in a clockwise direction.
- Adjusting the Grip: Adjust the jaw seat configuration and mount the jaw hooks so they completely and squarely grab the outer lip of the object being pulled.
- Pumping Action: Insert the handle lever and tilt the piston starting rod back and forth. The internal hydraulic pressure will drive the body forward while the jaw hooks pull the seized object straight off the shaft.
- Handling Long Draws (Resetting): If the object requires a deeper pull than the 3-inch effective stroke, stop pumping at maximum extension. Slowly loosen the oil return valve counter-clockwise to let the piston retract, reset your jaw depth link, and repeat steps 1–3.
- Releasing Tensions: Once the component is completely pulled free, slightly loosen the oil return valve counter-clockwise to allow the internal spring to automatically return the piston to its starting base.
