The Total TAPLI20188 is a high-performance 20V brushless cordless car polisher engineered for professional automotive detailing, boat buffing, paint restoration, and surface finishing. Driven by an advanced brushless motor delivering a variable no-load speed of 400 to 2,500 RPM, it provides exact control for removing swirl marks, scratches, oxidation, and applying wax. Equipped with a standard 180mm (7") hook-and-loop backing pad and M14 spindle thread, it offers cord-free flexibility for detailing shops and mobile operators. The complete kit includes a 4.0Ah 20V battery pack, a fast charger, an ergonomic D-handle, multiple polishing bonnets, and a wool felt pad inside a durable carrying case.

Usage

Pad Installation: Screw the 180mm hook-and-loop pad onto the M14 spindle, then press your chosen wool or felt bonnet firmly onto the backing pad face.
Handle Setup: Attach the included ergonomic D-handle to the front gear housing for balanced two-handed control.
Battery Connection: Slide the charged 20V 4.0Ah battery into the base of the handle until it locks securely into place.
Speed Adjustment: Adjust the variable speed dial to low RPM for wax application or higher RPM for cutting and scratch removal.
Operation & Storage: Apply compound evenly across the surface, switch on the polisher, and work in overlapping passes. Remove the battery and clean pads thoroughly after use.
