Usage
:User Instructions :
- Safety First : Ensure the unit is plugged into a properly grounded 220 V power source and wear appropriate PPE (gloves, eye protection).
- Immersion : Insert the 45 mm needle vertically and quickly into the wet concrete, allowing the long 6m shaft to penetrate to the required depth.
- Vibration : Allow the needle to vibrate until air bubbles stop escaping and the surface becomes glossy (typically 10 to 20 seconds for deep pours).
- Extraction : Withdraw the needle slowly and steadily (about 1 to 2 inches per second) to close the hole and allow the concrete to flow smoothly back together.
- Spacing : Reinsert the needle in a new location, ensuring the consolidation areas overlap by about 50% to ensure uniform compaction across the entire pour.
- Switch Off : Turn the unit off and unplug it from the power supply upon completion of the work.
Maintenance :
- Immediate Cleaning : Immediately after use, run the vibrator for a short time immersed in a bucket of water or by hand-cleaning the needle to prevent concrete build-up. Never use water to clean the motor housing.
- Shaft Inspection : Regularly check the 6m flexible shaft for any tears, abrasions, or kinks, as damage can affect performance and safety.
- Motor Housing : Keep the motor unit clean and free of dust, dirt, and wet concrete. Ensure the air vents are clear for fast heat dissipation.
