Usage

I. Preparation & Safety

Disconnect Power: Unplug the grinder or remove the battery.
Safety Gear: Put on safety glasses (must-have), face shield, and gloves.
Secure Workpiece: Clamp the material firmly.

II. Fitting

Mount Backing Pad: Place the correct size (4-inch) Backing Pad onto the grinder spindle.
Place Disc: Center the Fiber Disc on the pad, with the abrasive side facing out.
Secure Nut: Tighten the retaining nut firmly with the wrench (do not overtighten).

III. Usage (Operation)

Start Grinder: Power on the grinder away from the workpiece and let it reach full speed.
Angle is Key: Hold the disc at a shallow angle (10° to 15°) to the surface for effective cutting. Do not hold it flat.
Use Light Pressure: Let the disc do the work; too much pressure causes heat and premature wear.
Keep Moving: Use continuous, overlapping strokes. Do not dwell in one spot to avoid gouging and heat buildup.
