The Yuri 4-inch T.C.T. Saw Blade is an essential component for any workshop or construction site focused on woodworking. This blade features Tungsten Carbide Tips (T.C.T.) which provide exceptional hardness and resistance to wear, drastically extending the blade's working life. The 30-tooth configuration is optimized for a good balance between fast cutting speed and a quality finish. Its 4-inch diameter is suitable for various handheld circular saws and chop saws, while the substantial 20mm thickness adds stability and precision during demanding cuts. This bulk pack of 100 ensures you have a reliable supply of high-performance blades for large projects and continuous use.
Features
:Tungsten Carbide Tipped (T.C.T.): Ensures maximum durability and a longer cutting life.
Optimal Tooth Count: 30 teeth for efficient and fast cutting of most wooden materials.
High Stability: The 20mm thickness provides rigidity for accurate and smooth cuts.
Versatile Fit: Standard 4-inch diameter is compatible with many portable power tools.
Bulk Value: Convenient pack of 100 for large-scale or continuous commercial use.
Applications
:- Wood Cutting: Ideal for all types of wood, including hardwood, softwood, plywood, MDF (Medium-Density Fibreboard), and particle board.
- Construction: General framing, ripping, and cross-cutting on job sites.
- DIY Projects: Suitable for various home renovation and building tasks requiring precise wood cuts.
Maintenance
Cleaning: Regularly clean the blade to remove built-up pitch and sawdust using a dedicated saw blade cleaner. This prevents friction and overheating.
Inspection: Before each use, inspect the blade for bent or broken carbide tips. Replace any damaged blade immediately.
Sharpening: T.C.T. blades can be professionally sharpened, but only by a specialist with the correct equipment to maintain the carbide tips' geometry.
Storage: Store blades flat and dry in the original packaging or a protective case to prevent damage and rust.
Usage
:- Select the Correct Tool: Ensure your circular saw, chop saw, or table saw is designed to safely accommodate a 4-inch diameter blade with the specified bore size (check tool manual).
- Installation: Turn off and unplug the power tool. Following the saw's manual, mount the blade correctly, ensuring the teeth are pointing in the direction of the blade rotation (usually indicated by an arrow on the blade).
- Secure Fastening: Tighten the blade nut securely to prevent wobbling or slippage during operation.
- Cutting: Use steady, even pressure. Allow the blade's speed to do the cutting work. Do not force the cut.
Precautionary Guidance
- Unplug Before Changing: Always disconnect the power tool from the electricity supply before changing or adjusting the blade.
- Check Max RPM: Never use the blade on a saw with a rotational speed (RPM) higher than the maximum speed rating marked on the blade itself.
- Secure Material: Always clamp or secure the material being cut firmly to prevent kickback.
- Use the Right Blade: Only use this blade for the intended materials (primarily wood). Cutting metal or masonry will severely damage the tips.
- Avoid Overheating: If the blade starts smoking, stop cutting immediately and let the blade cool down.
Fitting Guidance
- Safety First: Unplug the tool and wear gloves.
- Remove Old Blade: Press the spindle lock, use a wrench (turn in the direction the blade spins to loosen), and remove the old blade.
- Install New Blade: Place the Yuri blade on the arbor. CRITICALLY, ensure the arrow on the new blade matches the rotation
- direction of the saw.
- Secure: Reinstall the washer and nut. Press the spindle lock and tighten firmly (turn opposite the blade spin direction). Plug in and run the saw briefly to check for any wobble or vibration.
NOTE: The cutting teeths of the saw is made from Tungsten Carbide, which is a composite material that is much harder and more durable than standard Steel.
