Usage
:- Prepare by connecting the test leads for voltage or resistance testing and inserting the two AAA batteries into the back chamber.
- To measure current, turn the dial to the proper AC current range (1A, 40A, and 600A). To obtain an accurate reading, press the trigger to open the jaws and wrap a single wire.
- Voltage/Capacitance: Touch the contact points with the test leads. The reading will be shown on the backlit LCD; if the measurement is hard to see, press the "Hold" button.
- Dark Environments: To illuminate the wire or panel you are checking, turn on the integrated flashlight by pressing the designated button.
- Shutdown: To save energy, the unit will automatically turn off, however it's advisable to turn the dial to "OFF" when storage starts.
