Description
The Polymak 450mm Bolt Cutter Replacement Blade (Model HT-P-BCRB-450) is an industrial-grade renewal jaw head assembly designed to restore the peak cutting performance of your 18-inch bolt cutting tools. Precision-manufactured from high-tensile drop-forged steel, these heavy-duty jaws offer exceptional structural toughness and resistance against catastrophic fracturing under massive mechanical compression. Through advanced heat treatment, the shearing edges achieve a specialized 56-60 HRC hardness rating, ensuring they remain exceptionally sharp and resist chipping or flattening when biting through stubborn high-tensile materials. Designed for straightforward alignment and fast mounting, this premium replacement head allows professional operators to instantly refurbish their existing tool frame, avoiding the cost of a full tool replacement while maintaining maximum leverage.
Features
:- Drop-Forged Steel Jaws: Forged from structural tool steel under immense pressure to ensure maximum grain density and ultimate structural integrity.
- 56-60 HRC Edge Hardness: Precision heat-treated cutting edges achieve an ultra-tough 56-60 HRC hardness rating to bite through high-tensile materials cleanly without rolling.
- 18-Inch / 450mm Frame Profile: Features clear, embossed sizing marks ("450" and "18"") on the metal body, serving as a direct-fit replacement for standard 450mm tools.
- High-Leverage Cutting Geometry: Engineered with an optimized compound jaw design that efficiently multiplies user handle force into pure shearing action.
- Industrial Matte Protection Finish: Treated with a protective dark coating to shield the raw forged steel surfaces from workshop grease, rust, and humidity.
Applications
:- Refurbishing Construction Tools: Renewing chipped or notched cutting edges on site bolt cutters tasked with shearing steel rebar, structural mesh, and concrete form ties.
- Industrial Maintenance: Restoring heavy-duty manual cutting tools inside manufacturing facilities to slice through iron rods, dense steel wires, and rivets.
- Security & Facility Operations: Replacing worn jaws on service fleet tools used for breaching heavy security padlocks, transport container seals, and thick steel chains.
- Fencing & Agricultural Maintenance: Reconditioning cutting machinery used for clipping high-tensile barbed wires, tension rods, and chain-link fencing profiles.
Usage
:- Disconnect the existing worn or damaged jaw assembly from your 18-inch bolt cutter frame by unscrewing the primary cross bolts using a socket wrench.
- Thoroughly clean out any accumulated rust flakes, dirt, or debris from the receiving neck channels of the handles.
- Slide the mounting arms of the new Polymak HT-P-BCRB-450 replacement blade assembly into the frame sockets until the bolt channels align perfectly.
- Reinsert the structural steel mounting bolts through the handle housing and the replacement jaw block, tightening the nuts loosely.
- Use the built-in alignment adjusting screws on the connecting plate to calibrate the jaws so that the cutting edges meet perfectly parallel without rubbing or overlapping.
- Firmly torque down the main retention bolts to lock the renewed jaw assembly securely into position before executing your first test cut on scrap wire.
