Description
This 4S 100A LiFePO4 BMS is a professional-grade hardware protection circuit board engineered to monitor, balance, and safeguard 12V 4-Series Lithium Iron Phosphate battery packs. Driven by an advanced centralized control architecture, this system coordinates real-time passive cell balancing along a integrated same-port design logic where charging and discharging current lines use matching pathways. The circuit board is layered beneath a thick, heavy-duty aluminum heat sink plate that accelerates heat dissipation away from switching MOSFET arrays to maintain system cool under maximum current strain. It is equipped with dedicated external NTC temperature sensing probes that constantly monitor the thermal environment of the core cells to prevent dangerous thermal runway events. Designed to preserve cell lifespan, this module protects vulnerable packs against continuous over-charging, over-discharging, current surges, and short circuit faults in high-capacity energy configurations.
Features
:- Heavy-Duty 100A Rating: Handles up to 100 Amperes of continuous electrical current, rendering it ideal for heavy power draw and rapid charging installations.
- Integrated Same-Port Logic: Uses identical input/output terminals for both charging and discharging cycles to significantly simplify external battery pack wiring.
- Passive Voltage Cell Balancing: Automatically redistributes internal current to match individual cell voltage points, maximizing overall capacity usage.
- Dual NTC Thermal Probes: Equipped with two external NTC 100K temperature sensor leads to cut off circuit pathways if temperatures cross safe operational boundaries.
- Robust Aluminum Heat Shield: Backed by a wide surface area metal casing plate that suppresses operational heat buildup across power transit traces.
Applications
:- Solar Energy Storage Banks: Ideal for managing high-capacity off-grid solar power reserve walls, home energy backups, and solar street lighting packs.
- Electric Vehicle Powertrains: Serves as the primary protection regulator inside low-speed electric golf carts, e-rickshaws, and electric boat motors using 12V blocks.
- Inverter Battery Management: Manages heavy continuous currents for 12V emergency power backup inverters and camper van auxiliary battery banks.
- Industrial Marine Systems: Perfect for regulating deep-cycle 12V LiFePO4 trolling motor systems requiring rapid high-amp marine power delivery.
Usage
:- Wiring Balance Order: Always solder the black B- balance lead to the main negative battery pole first, then connect subsequent white wires sequentially from cell 1 up to cell 4 before plugging the harness into the board slot.
- Main High-Current Landing: Secure the primary heavy gauge negative battery terminal directly onto the screw position marked B-.
- System Load Attachment: Connect your external charging device negative wire and your load terminal return circuit straight onto the terminal block labeled C-.
- Thermal Probe Alignment: Tape the dual insulated white NTC sensor tips tightly onto the center flanks of the inner battery cells using heat-resistant kapton film.
