Description
The Polymak 600mm Bolt Cutter (Model HT-P-BC-600) is an industrial-grade, heavy-duty mechanical hand tool engineered to deliver maximum cutting force and long-lasting durability. Designed for rigorous professional environments, this high-performance cutter features massive 600mm handles that create a compounding high-leverage mechanism, transforming minimal manual effort into intense crushing pressure. The cutting head is manufactured using premium drop-forged TS alloy steel jaws, offering exceptional structural density and resistance against fracturing under high mechanical loads. Through an advanced heat-treatment process, the precision cutting edges achieve an ultra-hard 50 - 60 HRC rating, ensuring the jaws maintain a sharp edge profile and resist chipping or rolling when biting through stubborn materials.
Features
:- Drop-Forged TS Alloy Steel Jaws: Precision forged under high pressure to ensure maximum grain refinement and structural integrity for severe heavy-duty shearing.
- 50 - 60 HRC Hardness Rating: Induction-hardened cutting edges reach a specialized 50 - 60 HRC profile to resist edge deformation when snapping stubborn fasteners.
- 600mm High-Leverage Frame: Features an extended 600mm (24-inch) body structure designed to compound manual torque into massive mechanical advantage.
- Hardened Compound Action Hinge: Outfitted with an optimized mechanical joint structure that perfectly aligns the cutting faces to provide clean cuts with minimized exertion.
- Industrial Anti-Corrosion Coating: Jaws are finished with a protective layer to shield the raw forged alloy steel from workshop moisture, grease, and rust.
Applications
:- Construction & Rebar Work: Snipping concrete reinforcement wire mesh, formwork structural ties, metal security straps, and mild steel rebar rods.
- Industrial Site Maintenance: Cutting through old rusted fasteners, thick electrical grounding copper rods, steel alloy wires, and heavy rivets.
- Logistics & Transport: Rapidly clearing transit container seals, high-tensile security cables, and shipping crate wire bands.
- Security & Emergency Rescue: Breaching frozen commercial padlocks, security locker brackets, and heavy-duty property fencing wires.
Usage
:- Wipe off any tracking grease, oil, or wet sludge from the target metal profile and the matching alloy steel cutter jaws before starting.
- Pull the long cutter handles completely apart to expand the 50 - 60 HRC alloy steel jaws to their widest clearance.
- Slip the target bolt, rod, or chain link deep down into the base throat cavity of the open jaws to utilize the maximum compounding leverage zone.
- Grab the outermost ends of the tool handles firmly to gain the greatest possible manual leverage.
- Press the handles steadily together using compressed physical downward force until the hardened edges snap cleanly through the metal core.
- Keep the tool jaws clean by wiping them down with a dry cloth after operational use, and periodically apply a thin film of tool oil to the pivot hinge points.
