The Abrigo RFA-60 Retractable Fall Arrester Block is a self-retracting lifeline designed to provide continuous fall protection for workers at elevated heights. Built with an impact-resistant polymer casing, this unit houses 6 meters of 4.5mm diameter galvanized steel wire rope to prevent breakage and withstand heavy industrial wear. It features an anchorage eye with swivel action to eliminate line twisting during movement or fall events. Tested to a minimum breaking strength of 12kN and certified to EN 360:2002 standards, this fall arrest block can also be stored flat on its side or stacked vertically for space-efficient storage.

Usage
:- Inspect the polymer casing, swivel anchorage eye, 4.5 mm steel wire rope, and snap hook for wear or damage before every use.
- Anchor the top swivel eye securely to a rated overhead anchorage structure using an approved karabiner or connector.
- Attach the lower swivel snap hook directly to the dorsal (back) D-ring of a full-body safety harness.
- Move vertically along the workspace while the internal spring-loaded reel automatically extends and retracts the wire cable.
- In the event of a sudden slip or fall, the internal braking mechanism engages immediately to arrest the fall and limit impact forces.
