Usage
:User Instructions :
- Preparation : Ensure the vibrator is plugged into a stable 220V power source. Confirm the 1-meter needle and shaft are securely connected to the motor unit.
- Insertion : Insert the vibrating needle vertically into the fresh concrete. For layered pours, the needle should just penetrate the previous layer for good bonding.
- Vibration : Hold the vibrator in the concrete for 5 to 15 seconds until bubbles stop rising and the surface of the concrete looks smooth and glossy.
- Withdrawal : Withdraw the needle slowly and steadily. This prevents creating voids in the concrete.
- Spacing : Space your insertions to ensure the area of influence overlaps, typically at intervals of 450mm to 750mm.
- Avoidance : Do not vibrate against rebar or formwork, as this can cause damage to both the equipment and the structure.
Maintenance :
- Cleaning : Clean the vibrating needle and shaft thoroughly immediately after use to prevent concrete from hardening on the surface.
- Inspection : Regularly check the short flexible shaft (1m) for any damage, kinks, or tears. Inspect the needle head for excessive wear.
- Lubrication : If the manual specifies, periodically check and re-lubricate the coupling between the motor and shaft to maintain performance.
- Storage : Store the vibrator in a dry, safe location. Never hang the motor unit by the flexible shaft.
- Electrical Safety : Check the power cord and plug for any signs of damage (cuts, fraying) before every use and replace immediately if necessary.
