Description
The CHANDOKS TYPE-A Fire Hydrant Landing Valve in Stainless Steel (SS) grade is an ISI-marked hydrant valve conforming to IS:5290 standards. It typically features a 63mm diameter size with a 3-inch NB flanged inlet designed for a single outlet. The outlet is a female instantaneous type, operated manually via a cast iron handwheel. Constructed from stainless steel (often SS304 grade), this valve is corrosion-resistant, pressure-resistant, and suitable for fire hydrant systems. It comes with a PVC blank cap attached by a chain and is finished with durable paint for enhanced weather resistance. The valve also undergoes hydrostatic testing (e.g., tested at 23 kgf/cm²) and seat tightness testing to ensure water tightness at 14 kgf/cm². It achieves a flow rate of around 900 liters per minute at 7 kgf/cm² pressure, making it efficient for firefighting applications.
