Usage
:Usage Guidance (How to Use) :
- Unpack the tool-box (CTB-1803) and store the tools in your workspace for easy access.
- Use the 8″ Combination Plier (1621-8) for gripping, bending, twisting or cutting medium wires.
- Use the 6″ Side Cutter (1121-6N) for clean cutting of wires or small pins flush to surfaces.
- Use the Two-in-One Screwdriver (905) for both flat-head and Phillips screws—select correct tip for screw head, apply steady torque.
- Use the Line Tester (813) to verify live cables or sockets: place tip against live contact, and check indicator light. Always switch off mains before major work.
- Use the Snap-Off Cutter (SK-1) for scoring and cutting materials; when blade becomes dull, snap off the segment for fresh edge.
- Use the Wire Stripper (WS-06) to remove insulation: select correct gauge, clamp & pull to strip safely without damaging conductor.
- After each job, return tools to their compartments in the tool box—reduces misplacement and keeps the set ready.
- For portability: close the tool-box lid securely and carry by handle.
Maintenance Guidance :
- After use, wipe the tools with a dry, clean cloth to remove dust, debris or moisture.
- For pliers/cutters: occasionally apply a drop of light machine oil to pivot joints to maintain smooth operation and prevent rust.
- For screwdrivers/tester: keep the tips clean and free of burrs; avoid using the screwdriver as a chisel or pry bar.
- For wire stripper/cutter blades: inspect for dullness; replace parts if applicable or ensure safe use of fresh edge.
- Store the kit in a dry location, away from direct sunlight or humidity, to preserve the finishes and prevent corrosion.
- Ensure handles remain intact; if insulation on tools is damaged, stop using the tool for electrical work until repaired.
- Close the tool-box properly after use to avoid losing loose parts and preserve organisation.
