Description
Designed for high-precision TIG (tungsten inert gas) and manual stick (MMA) applications, the Toshweld TIG 315 BP AC/DC is a heavy-duty, industrial-grade multi-process inverter welding station. This machine, which has an adjustable AC/DC toggle matrix and is powered by an incredibly reliable multi-card MOSFET design, enables professional-grade capabilities to weld standard alloy steels and reactive metals like brass, magnesium, and aluminum. Operating on a sturdy three-phase 415V industrial grid with an optimized 8.9kVA input capacity, it provides a wide output current range of 5 to 315 Amps. Equipped with extensive pulse waveform adjustments and High-Frequency (HF) non-contact arc ignition, operators can carefully control the weld pool heat signature, enabling clean, warp-free fusion on heavy structural plates up to 12mm thick as well as ultra-thin metal sheets.
Features
:- Industrial AC/DC Modes: Offers direct current (DC) for flawless penetration on carbon and stainless steels, or high-frequency alternating current (AC) to readily remove stubborn surface oxides on aluminum.
- Extensive Parameter Matrix: Pre-flow gas, start current, peak current, base current, pulse frequency, pulse width, AC balance, down-slope decay, and post-flow gas timings can all be individually adjusted using a variety of analog control dials on the front panel.
- Non-Contact HF Ignition: Maintains the purity of the tungsten electrode and avoids contamination by using a high-frequency pilot arc circuit for instantaneous arc striking without coming into contact with the base metal.
- In order to reduce finger fatigue during lengthy, continuous production welding on heavy metal fabrications, the 2T/4T Latch Controller supports automated trigger latching capabilities.
Applications
:- Heavy Aluminum Fabrication: Structural welding on industrial gangways, storage tanks, aluminum vehicle bodies, and specialty boat hulls.
- Process Chemical Piping: Pharmaceutical storage equipment, chemical reactors, and stainless steel lines with high-purity TIG root and cap passes.
- Aerospace & specialized Automotive: Producing specialized roll cages, high-performance intake manifolds, and lightweight alloy chassis components.
- Industrial Maintenance & Rigging: Heavy iron gates, structural girders, and carbon steel factory equipment all require routine structural stick-welding maintenance.
Usage
:- Before turning on the machine, make sure your workshop's infrastructure has a steady, grounded three-phase AC 415V electrical supply line.
- Hook the TIG torch gas lead firmly to the front panel connector and use an argon regulator to attach your shielding gas cylinder to the rear gas intake valve.
- Place the grounding return clamp directly onto a polished, naked section of your intended metal workpiece that is completely free of priming layers, grease, and mill scale.
- Turn the front switch to "DC" for ordinary steel or "AC" for aluminum stock, then adjust the AC balance and pulse frequency knobs to correspond with the sheet depth.
