Description
Bluepoint AT380A is a 3/8 inch heavy‑duty air impact wrench designed for general automotive and industrial service, delivering around 230 Nm (about 180 ft‑lb) of torque with an 8700 RPM no‑load speed for fast removal and tightening of medium‑size fasteners.
Features
:- Built-in five position adjustable air regulator plus a variable
- speed trigger for maximum user control
- Aluminum housing provides a lightweight yet durable tool
- Tapered nose increases accessibility to confined areas
- Ball-bearing mounted motor creates a smooth running operation for less user fatigue
- Brass inlet filter screens out dirt and grit; easy-to-remove filter for cleaning
- Twin-hammer impact mechanism designed to hit hard yet offer tool longevity.
Applications
:- Automotive workshops : Removing and installing wheel fasteners (on vehicles that use 3/8 drive sizes), engine and transmission bolts, suspension and steering fasteners where medium torque is sufficient.
- Light truck, motorcycle, and equipment service : Chassis, brake, and drivetrain bolts that require more power than a mini impact but less bulk than a 1/2 inch gun.
- Industrial and maintenance : Machinery assembly/disassembly, plant maintenance, flange bolts, and general maintenance fasteners in M8-M12 range.
- DIY and small garages : General fastening tasks where speed and consistent torque are needed.
Usage
:- Connect the wrench to a clean, regulated compressed‑air supply (typically around 6.2–6.3 bar / 90 psi at the tool) using appropriate hoses and couplers; ensure adequate air flow from the compressor.
- Attach a correct impact‑rated 3/8 inch socket fully onto the square drive, seat the socket securely on the fastener, then squeeze the variable‑speed trigger to start impacting.
- Use the built‑in air regulator to set power level and the forward/reverse selector to choose tightening or loosening; for critical joints, use the impact to snug the fastener and verify final torque with a torque wrench.
- Do not run the tool at full speed without load for long periods; follow recommended duty cycles and always wear appropriate PPE (eye/ear protection, gloves).
- After use, disconnect air, add a few drops of air‑tool oil into the inlet if required, briefly run the tool to circulate oil, and store in a dry, clean place.
