AARMOUR is a powerful Entomopathogenic Nematode (EPN) based bio-insecticide developed with NBAIR (ICAR affiliate) technology. It provides long-lasting control of white grubs, gnats, weevils, cutworms, and other soil pests that attack crops such as sugarcane, arecanut, banana, cardamom, turmeric, and ginger. When applied to moist soil, these microscopic beneficial nematodes actively travel through the rhizosphere to hunt down insect hosts. Upon entering the pest through natural openings, they release symbiotic bacteria that produce natural toxins, causing rapid pest mortality. The nematodes then reproduce inside the pest, releasing thousands of new infective juveniles into the surrounding soil to maintain long-lasting protection. Applications

Field Crop Application (Sugarcane & Maize): Apply 2–3 kg/acre in 2 split applications, or 5–8 kg/acre as a single treatment before planting.
Vegetables & Tuber Crops (Potato, Brinjal, Ginger): Apply 2–3 kg/acre for potato/brinjal and 4–5 kg/acre for ginger directly around root zones during earthing-up or planting.
Plantation Crops & Trees (Arecanut & Coconut): Apply 8–10 kg/acre broadcasted, or spot apply 200 g of mixture around the root zone per tree.
Soil Moisture & Storage Precautions: Apply during early morning or late evening in moist soil conditions (avoid bone-dry soil). Store in a cool, dry place away from heat and synthetic chemical pesticides.
