Description
The Oxi Power Butter Cut is a premium-grade, professional 16-inch diamond saw blade precision-engineered for aggressive, smooth, and rapid slicing through tough concrete structures. Earning its name "Butter Cut" for its exceptionally smooth, low-vibration operation, this heavy-duty wheel features a robust silver-brazed construction that securely bonds the advanced diamond segments to the high-tensile steel core. The black-coated blade body provides superior heat dissipation and rust protection, ensuring long-lasting structural integrity and minimal material chipping when coping with highly abrasive construction applications.
Features
:Silver Brazed Segment Construction: Delivers an ultra-strong, heat-resistant bond between the diamond segments and the steel core to withstand intense structural workloads.
- Signature "Butter Cut" Smoothness: Engineered with a specialized diamond grit matrix that glides through cured and reinforced materials like butter, maximizing operator comfort and reducing machine fatigue.
- Thick Premium Segment Design: Promotes consistent, fast cutting speeds while vastly extending the overall functional life cycle of the blade.
- Heat and Rust-Resistant Coating: The industrial black finish minimizes frictional heating, prevents rust buildup, and clears away slurry efficiently.
- Universal 25.4mm Arbor Fitment: Offers standardized matching compatibility across a broad fleet of heavy-duty concrete cutting equipment.
Applications
:Slicing through cured concrete blocks, structural slabs, and reinforced concrete columns.
- Expansion joint cutting, structural trenching, and road surface maintenance.
- Clean trimming of concrete pavement blocks, curb stones, and patio pavers.
- General masonry slicing tasks involving high-density bricks and solid concrete walls.
Usage
:Equipment Matching: Ideal for installation on standard 16" portable hand-held demolition cutoff saws, walk-behind floor saws, or specialized electric concrete slab cutters.
- Directional Alignment: Always inspect the directional arrow stamped on the blade surface and ensure it lines up correctly with the tool's spindle rotation direction before tightening the flange.
- Operational Drive: Can be used for both dry trimming or wet-assisted cooling cutting. Wet cutting is strongly encouraged to wash away abrasive slurry and maximize segment longevity.
- Personal Protection: Ensure operators always wear protective eyewear, heavy-duty gloves, hearing protection, and a respirator mask during operation.
Maintenance
:Slurry Flushing: Clean the blade surface with water after wet usage cycles to wipe away concrete residue that could solidify on the cooling vents.
- Storage Environment: Hang the blade or store it flat in a completely dry, climate-stable tool room to mitigate stress bending or surface moisture erosion.
- Segment De-glazing: If cutting performance slows due to segment glazing (smooth diamonds), pass the blade through a soft, highly abrasive dressing stone or silica brick a few times to expose fresh, sharp diamond layers.
- Regular Inspection: Visually inspect the silver-brazed joints and look for hair-thin fractures or uneven segment wear before mounting the blade for a new shift.
