The Abrigo AB-18 Class L Full Body Safety Harness paired with the AB531 Double Lanyard and Energy Absorber system is designed for tower climbing, ladder ascents, and industrial fall protection. Constructed from high-tenacity polyester webbing with contrasting stitching, the harness features a back dorsal forged steel D-ring and two front chest (sternal) attachment textile loops. Equipped with an integrated impact indicator and adjustable chest and thigh straps, it allows ergonomic alignment and post-fall safety tracking. The AB531 lanyard assembly includes a 1.8-meter, 12mm nylon double-rope setup, an integrated tear-webbing shock absorber pack, a screw-locking steel karabiner, and two heavy-duty scaffolding hooks. The energy absorber expands during a fall to cushion deceleration forces, while the dual scaffolding hooks enable continuous 100% tie-off protection. Certified to IS 3521:1999 standards.

Usage

Hold the harness by its back dorsal steel D-ring and shake out any twisted webbing straps.
Slip the shoulder straps over the arms like a jacket and fasten the front chest buckle.
Bring the thigh straps between the legs, attach the buckles firmly, and adjust for a comfortable, snug fit.
Attach the screw-locking karabiner from the AB531 energy absorber pack to either the dorsal forged steel D-ring or pass it through both chest attachment textile loops.
Secure the two scaffolding hooks to structural anchor points, alternating hooks while climbing to maintain continuous 100% tie-off protection at all times.
