Description
The Jadever JDCC1302 is a heavy-duty 300mm cold chisel engineered for industrial-strength breaking and shaping. Forged from high-grade 45# carbon steel with professional heat treatment, it provides superior impact resistance and edge retention. Its 25mm blade and 18mm hexagonal shank make it the perfect tool for demanding masonry, concrete chipping, and heavy metalwork applications.
Features
:- Industrial Grade Steel : Forged from 45# carbon steel for maximum durability and strike absorption.
- Extended Reach : 300mm length provides excellent leverage and accessibility in deep masonry joints.
- Wide Cutting Edge : 25mm ground blade delivers high-impact force for faster material removal.
- Heat Treated Performance : Precision hardened and tempered to ensure the edge stays sharp and prevents splintering.
- Hexagonal Shank : 18mm hex body provides a stable, non-slip grip even when wearing heavy work gloves.
Applications
:- Concrete Breaking : Chipping away excess concrete or leveling slab edges.
- Masonry & Brickwork : Splitting bricks, blocks, or removing old mortar from joints.
- Metalwork : Cutting through heavy-duty rivets, bolts, and rusted fasteners.
- General Demolition : Prying apart structural materials and cleaning stone surfaces.
Usage
:User Instructions :
- Safety Gear : Put on safety goggles to protect against flying stone or metal shards.
- Grip : Hold the 18mm hexagonal shank firmly near the middle to keep your hand away from the striking face.
- Angle : Position the 25mm blade at the point of impact. Use a 90° angle for splitting and a shallower angle for shaving metal.
- Striking : Use a club hammer or heavy sledge hammer. Strike the head squarely to ensure the force travels directly to the blade.
- Small Increments : Work from the edges of the material inward to prevent the chisel from getting jammed.
Maintenance :
- Clean After Use : Wipe off dust and debris to prevent moisture from sitting on the carbon steel.
- Rust Prevention : Lightly coat with machine oil or WD-40 before long-term storage.
- Sharpening : Restore the blade's 60°–70° cutting angle using a bench grinder or a file as needed.
- Head Dressing : If the striking head "mushrooms" (flattens out), grind the edges down to prevent dangerous metal fragments from breaking off during use.
