Usage
:User Instructions :
- Safety First : Always wear steel-toe boots, safety goggles, heavy gloves, and ear protection.
- Pre-Checks : Ensure the machine is on level ground. Check diesel fuel levels and engine oil levels. Fill the 30L tank with clean water.
- Blade Installation : Securely mount the appropriate 500mm diamond blade according to the manual's instructions.
- Starting : Open the fuel valve, set the throttle, and follow the standard procedure to start the Greaves diesel engine. Let it warm up briefly.
- Operation : Open the water valve to ensure flow to the blade. Align the machine with your cut line. Increase engine to full throttle. Slowly lower the blade into the concrete using the depth crank handle. Push the saw forward steadily.
- Stopping : Raise the blade completely out of the cut first, throttle down the engine, and then shut it off.
Maintenance :
- Engine Care : Strictly follow the Greaves engine manual for routine maintenance, including regular oil changes and fuel filter replacements.
- Air Filter : Clean or replace the engine air filter frequently due to the dusty cutting environment.
- Cleaning : Wash down the machine after every use to remove concrete slurry, especially around the blade guard and wheels.
- Lubrication : Periodically grease moving parts, bearings, and the depth adjustment mechanism shaft.
- Belt Tension : Check the drive belt tension regularly and adjust if slippage occurs.
