Usage

 :

  • Cartridge Installation: Open the cartridge compartment and insert the provided 12.7mm solvent-based black ink cartridge, ensuring it is properly seated and locked according to the printer's instructions.
  • Power On: Turn on the printer using the power button.
  • Design Creation/Selection: Use the 4.3-inch touchscreen to create new print designs (text, barcodes, logos) or select from saved templates. Adjust font, size, position, and other parameters as needed.

Maintenance :

  • Printer Body: Keep the metal body and handle clean by wiping them with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
  • Screen Care: Clean the touchscreen with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid applying excessive pressure.
  • Cartridge Care (Solvent-Based):
    • When not in use, ensure the cartridge is properly seated in the printer or capped (if a cap is provided) to prevent the solvent ink from evaporating and the nozzles from drying out.
    • Store the printer and cartridges in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Solvent inks are flammable.
    • If print quality degrades, consult the printer's manual for troubleshooting steps, which may include nozzle cleaning procedures using approved solvent-based ink cleaning solutions in a well-ventilated area.
    • Avoid touching the print nozzles on the cartridge.
  • Battery Maintenance: Follow the manufacturer's instructions for charging and maintaining the printer's battery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Regular Use: Using the printer regularly can help prevent the ink from drying out and clogging the nozzles.
