Description
The Reliant Lab Resistance Box (Plug Type) is a high precision electrical instrument engineered for advanced laboratory measurements and circuit analysis. The device operates on the Short Circuit principle heavy, tapered brass plugs are inserted into CNC machined sockets between thick brass blocks. When a plug is seated, the current bypasses the resistor when removed, the current is forced through a precision wound Manganin or Constantan coil housed beneath the ebonite plate. Enclosed in a seasoned teak wood case, these boxes offer superior stability and accuracy for sensitive bridge circuits.
Features
:- Non Inductive Winding: Coils are wound using a double back non inductive technique to cancel self-inductance, making the box highly accurate for both DC and low frequency AC applications.
- High Insulation Ebonite Top: The 15mm thick high grade ebonite plate provides exceptional surface resistivity, preventing current leakage and maintaining high measurement precision in all environments.
- Heavy Duty Brass Blocks: Features thick, high conductivity brass blocks that provide a robust electrical path and minimize contact resistance at the plug interfaces.
- Seasoned Teak Wood Case: The assembly is housed in a polished, seasoned teak-wood enclosure that protects the internal coils from dust, humidity, and mechanical shock.
