Description
Glaze Plus EPO-GOLD-5010 is a high-strength, premium two-component structural epoxy adhesive formulated in a gel consistency. It is engineered specifically for the stone processing industry to bond, repair, and seal premium surfaces while preserving their natural aesthetic. The cured adhesive delivers a stone-like yet elastic quality that is chemically inert, dimensionally stable, and structurally reliable under severe physical and environmental stress.
Features
:- Non-Sag Formula: Gel consistency allows seamless vertical, overhead, and architectural installation without dripping or slipping.
- 100% UV Resistant & Non-Yellowing: Perfect for both indoor and outdoor installations with zero color degradation or ambering over time.
- High Bonding Strength: Possesses superior tensile and bearing capacity, forming permanent, unbreakable bonds.
- Thermal Stability: Retains excellent elasticity and full structural strength across massive temperature extremes without softening or embrittlement.
- Moisture Tolerant: Performs exceptionally well under high humidity and challenging job site conditions.
- Stress-Free Curing: Hardens evenly into a solid, chemically inert profile that resists aging and does not shrink.
Applications
:- Natural Stone Joining: Seamless bonding and structural repair of premium marble, granite, and quartzite.
- Cast and Engineered Stone: Joining, laminating, and fabricating quartz, terrazzo, and engineered surfaces.
- Modern Building Materials: High-strength structural fixation of sintered porcelain, large-format slabs, and ceramics.
- Vertical and Overhead Installations: Securing structural stone joints, wall cladding, and ceiling panels.
- Civil Engineering and Renovation: Structural repair of concrete elements, masonry bonding, and fiberglass fixing.
Usage
:- Surface Preparation: Ensure all contact surfaces are clean, dry, free from oil, grease, wax, and slightly roughened with sand or grinding paper to ensure mechanical anchoring.
- Dispensing and Proportioning: Thoroughly measure out two parts of Component A to one part of Component B by volume or weight.
- Mixing Process: Blend both components continuously until a completely uniform, homogeneous shade and texture are achieved.
- Application Technique: Apply the mixed gel paste smoothly onto the prepared surface keeping the layer thicker than one millimeter for precise, sensitive adhesion.
- Curing Protocol: Allow the structural joint to sit undisturbed; it will set within forty five minutes and can be machined or polished after initial hardening.
Maintenance
:- Store unused containers tightly sealed in their original packaging in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
- Ensure the container caps for Component A and Component B are closed tightly immediately after use to avoid air exposure and contamination.
- Clean application tools immediately after use using an epoxy-compatible solvent before the gel hardens.
