Description
Glaze Plus EPO-MAX-10005 Component (A+B) is a professional-grade, two-component modified epoxy-based treatment system specially engineered for premium Italian marbles, granites, and natural stones. Featuring an exceptionally low viscosity and superior capillary-penetrating properties, it flows effortlessly into micro-cracks, fissures, and structural pores to reinforce the stone from within. This room-temperature curing system delivers exceptional impregnation capabilities, dramatically enhances the stone’s self-color, and cures to a high-gloss, ultra-brilliant finish. To accelerate productivity and achieve its absolute optimum physical and chemical performance, the system can be oven-cured or thermally treated at elevated temperatures.
Features
:- Enhanced Stone Color: Artfully intensifies and enriches the natural self-color of premium granites and Italian marbles.
- Superior Penetration Power: Exceptional low-viscosity liquid design allows deep tracking into microscopic hairline cracks, pinholes, and structural fissures.
- High-Gloss Finish: Offers magnificent surface impregnation resulting in a durable, glassy, mirror-like gloss after final curing and polishing.
- Excellent Color Stability: Provides highly dependable, long-term structural color stability without altering or yellowing over time.
- Low Shrinkage Rate: Minimizes stress on delicate natural stone with an ultra-low shrinkage profile during the curing process.
- Pigment Compatible: The base system can be seamlessly tinted or colored using specialized epoxy pigments for exact stone vein matching.
- Thermal and Weather Stability: Remains highly stable and structurally sound under extreme temperature variations and demanding environmental conditions.
- Water and Chemical Resistant: Creates an unyielding barrier that completely resists moisture ingress, industrial chemicals, and household stains.
Applications
:- Fissure and Micro-crack Filling: Sealing micro-cracks, structural hairline fractures, and structural open veins in high-end natural stones.
- Italian Marble Re-enforcement: Structural impregnation and front-to-back reinforcing of brittle Italian marbles.
- Granite Processing: Surface coating, sealing, and strengthening slabs during manufacturing or polishing phases.
- Stone Pigment Customization: Tinting the system with targeted shades to hide structural lines or repair shattered natural stone fragments seamlessly.
- High-End Architectural Restoration: Strengthening and protecting commercial or residential stone flooring, countertops, and luxury stone installations.
Usage
:- Surface Preparation: Completely clean the target stone surface, ensuring it is fully clear of dirt, dust, residual oils, grease, and ambient moisture before mixing the epoxy.
- Component Blending: Accurately mix Component A (Resin) and Component B (Hardener) according to the recommended manufacturer ratio until a completely uniform mixture is formed.
- Application Method: Pour or spread the fluid mix directly onto the stone surface, allowing it to penetrate fully into the cracks and open fissures.
- Curing Protocol: Allow the system to set at ambient room temperature, or accelerate productivity by heating the treated stone between forty degree Celsius and sixty degree Celsius to achieve optimum performance.
Maintenance
:- Store both Component A and Component B in a cool, well-ventilated, dry storage environment.
- Ensure containers are tightly sealed immediately after use to prevent cross-contamination or moisture absorption.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or elevated temperatures during storage to prolong shelf life.
