Short Description
Reliant Lab G-Clamp 4 inch (10cm)
Country of origin: India
Specifications
- Brand: Reliant Lab
- Material : Cast Iron
- Size : 4 inch (100mm)
Description
The 4-inch G-Clamp (also known as a C-Clamp) offers a substantial 10cm jaw capacity, providing the necessary reach and force for demanding projects. Forged from high tensile cast iron, the frame is engineered to resist "springing" or warping under extreme torque. The screw is precision machined with acme threads for smooth movement and maximum grip. With its classic G-profile, this tool provides a deep throat depth, allowing it to reach further onto the material surface than smaller clamps, ensuring a centered and balanced distribution of pressure.
Features
:- 10cm (4") Jaw Opening: Large capacity allows for the clamping of thick timber beams, heavy steel plates, or multiple stacked materials.
- Acme Threaded Steel Screw: Features deep, square-cut threads that prevent slipping and provide rapid tightening compared to standard threads.
- Dynamic Swivel Pad: The ball-jointed clamping face automatically adjusts to grip angled or uneven surfaces without marring the material.
- Anti Corrosion Coating: Finished with a thick powder coating or chrome plating to withstand harsh chemicals, moisture, and outdoor use.
Applications
:- Industrial Metalworking: Securing heavy-gauge steel for welding, grinding, or oxy-acetylene cutting operations.
- Structural Engineering Labs: Anchoring large-scale physics apparatus, such as the 1-meter Searle's Torsion rod or heavy Bending of Beam frames.
- Construction & Masonry: Holding temporary formwork or guide rails in place while setting concrete or mounting structural fixtures.
- Automotive Maintenance: Compressing heavy-duty truck brake pistons or holding suspension components during bushing replacement.
