Usage
:Setting Up the Wood Chipper :
- Oil Check : Check the oil level in the engine before starting. If necessary, add appropriate engine oil as specified in the manual.
- Set the choke lever to “Choke” if starting cold.
- Turn on the fuel valve if applicable.
- Pull the starter cord firmly until you hear the engine start.
- Once started, adjust choke back to “Run” position if applicable.
- The wood chipper can handle branches up to 70 mm in diameter. Always feed material into the chipper slowly and steadily without forcing it.
- Stand at a safe distance from the feed opening while feeding branches.
- Use both hands to guide smaller branches into the feed chute.
- For larger branches or logs close to maximum capacity (70 mm), ensure they are fed straight into the chute without twisting or bending them excessively.
Avoid Overloading :
- Do not overload or force too much material into the chipper at once; this can cause jams or damage to internal components.
Collecting Shredded Material :
- Position a collection bin or tarp beneath or behind where shredded material exits from the machine.
- Regularly check and empty collection areas as needed to prevent overflow which could lead to blockages or safety hazards.
