Usage
:1. Preparation :
- Unplug the Sealer : Ensure the heat sealer is turned off and unplugged from the power source for safety.
- Gather Tools : Have the necessary tools ready, such as screwdrivers, a wrench, and replacement parts (elements and Teflon cloths).
2. Remove Old Elements :
- Detach the Old Heating Elements : Unscrew the existing heating elements from the heat sealer.
- Disconnect Electrical Wires : Carefully disconnect the wires from the old heating elements. Remember the wire connections to ensure correct reassembly.
3. Install New Heating Elements :
- Position the New Elements : Place the new 12-inch heating elements into the designated slots or holders on the heat sealer.
- Secure the Elements : Use screws to secure the elements in place, ensuring they are properly aligned.
4. Attach Teflon Cloth :
- Align the Teflon Cloth : Wrap the Teflon cloth around the heating element, ensuring it covers the heating surface completely to protect it from residue and prolong its life.
- Secure the Cloth : Attach the cloth using the provided adhesive strips or by tightening screws/clamps, making sure it is firmly held in place.
5. Reconnect Wires :
- Connect the Electrical Wires : Reconnect the wires to the new heating elements as per the original configuration. Double-check the connections for safety and accuracy.
6. Test the Sealer :
- Plug in and Test : After everything is securely installed, plug the sealer back in and test the functionality to ensure the heating elements are working properly.
Maintenance :
- Clean the Teflon Cloth : After each use, wipe the Teflon cloth to remove any adhesive residue or dirt that may have accumulated during sealing.
- Check for Damage : Inspect the Teflon cloth for any tears, holes, or signs of wear. Replace it if damaged to maintain proper sealing performance.
