Description
The Wadfow WBC03540 is a heavy-duty flat hex chisel designed for efficient demolition work. Featuring a robust 30mm hexagonal shank, a wide 35mm spade blade, and an overall length of 400mm, it delivers maximum impact for clearing and channeling concrete. Specifically engineered for perfect compatibility with Wadfow WDB1D90 and UWDB1D90 demolition hammers. Comes packed in a protective plastic tube.

Features

 :
  • Heavy-Duty Design : Wide 35mm flat spade is ideal for chipping, edging, and channeling concrete and masonry.
  • Secure Fit : The 30mm hexagonal shank ensures maximum power transfer and prevents rotation within the chuck during heavy use.
  • Extended Reach : 400mm total length allows for better access and deeper penetration into materials.
  • Durable Construction : Built to withstand the high-impact forces generated by powerful demolition hammers.
  • Specific Compatibility : Designed specifically for optimized performance with Wadfow models WDB1D90 and UWDB1D90.

Applications

 :
  • General demolition of concrete slabs, foundations, and brick walls.
  • Scaling and removing heavy rust or dried mortar from flat surfaces.
  • Chipping away asphalt for road or driveway repairs.
  • Creating channels or chases in masonry walls for conduit or piping.
  • Removing floor tiles and stubborn thinset.

Usage

 :
User Instructions :

  1. Safety First : Always wear appropriate PPE, including safety glasses, heavy-duty gloves, ear protection, and a dust mask.
  2. Preparation : Ensure the demolition hammer is unplugged or powered off before changing bits.
  3. Lubrication : Apply a small amount of appropriate grease to the 30mm hex shank end of the chisel.
  4. Installation : Insert the greased shank into the hammer's chuck until it locks securely into place. Pull on the chisel to verify it is seated correctly.
  5. Operation : Place the flat edge of the chisel against the working surface at a slight angle. Apply steady, firm pressure and engage the hammer. Let the tool do the work; avoid leaning with excessive force.

Maintenance :

  • Clean After Use : Wipe the chisel clean of dust, concrete debris, and grit after every use to prevent buildup in the tool chuck.
  • Regular Greasing : Always grease the shank lightly before inserting it into the hammer to reduce friction and wear on both the bit and the power tool.
  • Inspection : Regularly check the chisel body for signs of fatigue or cracks.
  • Storage : Return the chisel to its plastic tube or a dry toolbox after use to prevent rust and protect the edge.
