Description
A vital diagnostic and functional part of contemporary electric vehicle (EV) drivetrains is the HUMSER Hall Sensor Board. This sophisticated PCB arrangement, which combines three highly sensitive magnetic latches with an integrated temperature sensor, was created especially for BLDC Hub Motors. It enables the controller to optimize speed transitions and start thermal cut-offs to avoid motor burnout by giving real-time feedback on both rotor position and internal motor heat. The 182 model, a professional-grade repair and maintenance component built on a vibration-resistant PCB, gives electric bikes, scooters, and e-rickshaws "like-new" smoothness.
Features
:- Dual Sensing Technology: Integrates real-time temperature monitoring with accurate Hall-effect rotor position detection.
- Optimized commutation allows the motor controller to provide steady torque and smooth, jerk-free acceleration.
- Thermal Protection: When a motor overheats, an integrated sensor helps avoid irreversible damage to magnets.
- Heat and vibration resistance: Designed to endure the severe interior conditions of a hub motor that rotates at a high speed.
- Broad Voltage Compatibility: Operates dependably within the normal 3V to 24V DC logic voltage ranges for EV controllers.
- Compact PCB Layout: Easy internal placement on the motor's stator without interfering with windings is made possible by the slim design.
Applications
:- Repairing e-bikes and e-cycles involves changing out defective sensor plates to address motor "jerking" or starting problems.
- Replacement of heavy-duty sensors for commercial vehicles with heavy loads is part of e-rickshaw maintenance.
- Upgrades for electric scooters: Adding temperature monitoring to improve motor safety.
- BLDC Motor Prototyping: Complex position and heat feedback are needed for custom EV projects.
Usage
:- Find the current hall sensor slot on the stator after disassembling the hub motor housing.
- Remove the plug from the motor's main harness or carefully desolder the old wires.
- The HUMSER 182 Board should be positioned so that the sensors precisely line up with the magnetic poles.
- To secure the board, use a tiny bit of heat-resistant, non-conductive adhesive.
- For active monitoring, connect the temperature sensor lead to the controller's specific thermal input.
- To guarantee proper timing, test motor rotation at a low speed prior to final reassembly.
