Usage
:- Using a tube cutter, cut the tubing square and deburr the inner and outside edges.
- Choose the appropriate yoke size based on the OD and insert the tubing until it is securely seated.
- Depending on the application, select 37° for refrigeration and 45° for HVAC/aircraft.
- Put the flared cone into the yoke and use a ratchet to tighten it until the clutch releases.
- Remove with caution; check that the flare top retains 90% of the wall thickness.
- Choose the appropriate swage mandrel; if expansion is required, gently tap with a hammer.
- After usage, clean all mating surfaces and store them neatly in a PVC box.
