Usage
:- Using a heavy-duty vise with a square-cut end, securely hold the pipe.
- Securely insert the proper BSPT die (½-1¼") into the ratchet frame.
- Lubricate the die and pipe with a large amount of pipe threading lubricant.
- Engage the ratchet mechanism after positioning the threader perpendicular to the pipe end.
- While ratcheting, keep the forward pressure constant at 1/4 turn forward and 1/8 turn back.
- Keep threading until the desired length is reached, which is usually 10–14 complete turns.
- Before assembling, properly clean the threads and check the fit with the mating connector.
