Description
- The Ingco DC/AC clamp meter DCM66002 is a True RMS 6000-count digital clamp meter that measures AC/DC current up to 600A, AC/DC voltage, resistance, capacitance, frequency, and temperature. It is a versatile tool for professional electrical diagnostics and maintenance.
Accessories
:- 3 X LR03 AAA Battery
Applications
:This clamp meter is suitable for various diagnostic, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks :
- Electrical Diagnostics : Quickly and safely troubleshooting electrical problems in a variety of settings, from household wiring to industrial machinery.
- Automotive Repair : Testing current draw from car batteries or checking the output of alternators.
- HVAC Work : Measuring current in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including microampere functions for flame rod current measurements.
- Installation & Maintenance : Used by electricians and technicians for routine checks and new installations.
- Electronics Projects : Suitable for schools, laboratories, and hobbyists for testing components like capacitors and resistors.
Usage
:Usage Tips :
- Current Measurement : When measuring current, clamp the jaws around only one insulated wire at a time; clamping around multiple wires will cancel out the magnetic fields and result in an inaccurate reading.
- DC Current Zeroing : Before taking a DC current measurement, wait for the display to stabilize with the jaws closed and empty, then press the "Zero" button to clear any DC offset.
- Safety : Always keep your fingers behind the tactile barrier on the face of the meter and ensure you are using the correct measurement category (CAT IV 600V, CAT III 1000V) for the circuit being tested to avoid electric shock or damage to the meter.
