Description
Special geometry for maintaining rotary mower blades and normal hand saws with 60° tooth angles is featured in the JK Super Drive 200mm Rotary Mower Double Ended Saw File (SD0840XX pack of 10). For a longer sharpening life, both ends have tapered single cut surfaces that maximize reach on bigger saw plates and mower cutter bars. These files, which are made of premium steel, provide controlled aggression for expert tooth repair and blade upkeep.
Features
:- Prior to replacement, the double-ended tapered shape optimizes file use.
- 7.2mm wide, ideal for 60° hand saw profiles and rotary mower teeth.
- High-quality steel can endure repeated honing operations in a workshop.
- Large saw blades and mower cutter assemblies are handled by the 200mm expanded length.
- Consistent restoration of tooth shape is ensured by strict adherence to guidelines.
Applications
:- Sharpening cutting bars and rotary mower blades.
- Keeping the tooth geometry of crosscut/rip hand saws at 60°.
- Tooth restoration using a large cant saw and panel saw.
- Expert blade maintenance for lawn equipment.
- Extended reach is necessary for filing heavy-duty workshop saws.
Usage
:- Hold the blade of a saw or lawnmower firmly in a vise at working height.
- Verify that the 7.2mm file width satisfies the necessary teeth spacing.
- Smooth forward strokes at a 60° angle are used to file teeth from one end.
- After the first end becomes dull, switch to the opposing end; balance the number of strokes per tooth.
- Regularly remove filings from file teeth and preserve them in a dry, covered case.
