Description
The Benson Heavy-Duty Manual Cono Weeder is a specialized wetland implement designed primarily for the System of Rice Intensification (SRI) and traditional paddy cultivation. Unlike standard weeders, the Cono Weeder features two tapered, rotating cones fitted with serrated blades. As it is pushed forward, these rotors create a back-and-forth "churning" motion that uproots weeds and buries them deep into the mud to decompose as green manure. This heavy-duty model is engineered to handle the high resistance of clay-heavy paddy soils while remaining light enough for a single operator to use.
