Applications

• Exylon Mectimax 5 (Emamectin Benzoate 5% SG) is used mainly as a foliar spray in the following crop areas:
• Cotton , Chilli, Okra , Cabbage , Cauliflower , Brinjal , Red gram and Chickpea (pulses), Grapes, Tea , Tomato.
• Various vegetables and fruits prone to chewing and sucking pests

Usage

• Dilute the soluble granules in water as per recommended dosage (typically 0.4 to 0.5 grams per liter for domestic use or 80-100 grams per acre for larger scale application).
• Apply as a foliar spray using a knapsack sprayer or other suitable spraying equipment for even coverage.
• Spray during the early stages of pest infestation, especially targeting pest larvae for maximum effectiveness.
• Apply in the early morning or late afternoon when temperatures are moderate and pests are active to improve absorption and minimize evaporation.
• Avoid spraying during periods of high pollinator activity to protect beneficial insects like bees.
