Description
The Reliant Lab Resistance Box (Plug Type) is a high precision electrical instrument designed for laboratories that require stable and repeatable resistance values. The device operates on the classic Short Circuit principle: heavy brass plugs are inserted into tapered sockets between thick brass blocks. When a plug is in place, the current flows through the low resistance brass; when removed, the current is diverted through a precision wound Manganin or Constantan coil housed beneath the insulating plate.

:Non Inductive Winding Technique: Each coil is wound using a "double back" non-inductive method to cancel out self inductance, ensuring the box is highly accurate for both DC and low frequency AC applications.
High Grade Ebonite Insulation: The top panel is made of 15mm thick, high insulation Ebonite, providing superior surface resistivity to prevent current leakage and maintain user safety.
Heavy Duty Brass Blocks: Features CNC-machined, high conductivity brass blocks that provide a robust electrical path and minimize contact resistance between the plugs.
