• This compressed 5 kg cocopeat block is washed and machine-sieved to keep dust, sand and husk low. Cleaner coco peat means healthier roots and dust-free handling.
• Soak the 5 kg brick in 20 to 25 litres of water for about 30 minutes and it reconstitutes into roughly 75 litres of light, fluffy growing medium, enough to fill 30 plus standard 8-inch pots. Optimised pH of about 5.5 to 6.5 with high water-holding and excellent root aeration.
• The horticulture-recommended pH band and airy texture make cocopeat ideal for quick seed germination and strong root growth. High water retention keeps seedlings evenly moist, while the open structure prevents compaction and supports oxygen at the root zone.
• Place the block in a tub, add 20 to 25 litres of water and wait 30 minutes until it crumbles into loose coco peat. Use it neat in seedling trays, mix 30 to 50% with garden soil for pots, or blend with compost as a light potting mix and soil conditioner for beds and planters.
