Description :

Overband Magnet is placed at roughly 90 degs to the direction of travel of the under passing conveyor belt. The Overband can be positioned anywhere along the entire length of conveyor that best suits the collection method, as long as the magnet is not placed directly above a roller set as overtime the steel rollers will become magnetized. Again non-ferrous material should pass up the conveyor and discharge normally from the head drum. Ferrous material will be extracted and discharged transversely.
