Paecilomyces lilacinus is a biological control agent that effectively targets and suppresses harmful soil-borne nematodes and fungal pathogens. It colonizes the rhizosphere, parasitizes nematode eggs, and releases enzymes that degrade the protective layers of harmful organisms.
